FEEDBACK FROM MIXED-MEDIA WORKSHOP: part 1 by Natasja De Wet

Thanks for joining me on Saturday for the Workshop! I had such fun and am really passionate about sharing, creating and learning from each other.

Feedback from one of the participants:
Thanks again for an eye-opening (and jaw-dropping – the fireworks) workshop that helped me to let go of some more of my preconceived ideas around art making. You've also taught me how accessible art is and how enjoyable and enriching it is. – Russell de la Porte.

This is a friendly reminder re the workshop next Saturday the 23 of April. Please be so kind to confirm via email and I’ll send my banking details. Deposit the fee of R650 to ensure your space a.s.a.p.

Exploring basic art techniques through a variety of media, with the emphasis on developing art-making skills at your own pace. Acrylic and water-based paint and drawing materials, such as charcoal, pencil, ink, pastels, graphite and many other experimental and unconventional mixed media. Hosted by Self-Exploration Portrait Painting Workshops and Mixed-Media Art Workshops.

Aim of the workshop:

We start by working with, and applying different media and doing a series of mixed-media exercises; then we create a mixed-media artwork, combining all or some of the media. In so doing, we learn, share and create together. Thus we push our own boundaries gently by exploring and awakening our inner creative world.

THE CREATIVE MIND by Natasja De Wet

MAGRIET SMIT CARL JUNG.jpg

'The creation of something new is not accomplished by the intellect but by the play instinct acting from inner necessity. The creative mind plays with the objects it loves'. - C.G. Jung
